Pat worked in England as a laborer on a farm in Chester. It is assumed that he worked there between
1901 to 1905.

Pat listed his brother Michael as the relative he was going to join on the passenger ship manifest. The
address he gave was 22 West First St., New York.

Pat's naturalization papers indicate that he, as well as his brothers Henry and Tommy, came to the
U.S. from Chester, England (Chester was given as their last place of residence).

While researching the passenger ship manifests, I came across a Patrick Finn age 21 from Frenchpark,
Ireland, who came into New York May 14, 1904. At first I was sure this was my grandfather until I
obtained his naturalization papers and found out my grandfather came to New York on September 25,
1905. Whoever this other Patrick Finn was, he was born in the same area as my grandfather in the year
1883. A review of the GRO birth index lists a Patrick Finn born in 1882.
